Refund & Dispute Policy
MidgardPay provides a fast, transparent, and fair dispute and refund process designed to protect both buyers and sellers. By using MidgardPay, both parties agree to accept the final decision made by our system after reviewing all available evidence.
Refund Policy
- Before completing any payment, the buyer is shown a unique Payment Reference. This reference is required to submit a dispute through the Dispute page.
- A buyer may only submit a dispute if the payment has been successfully confirmed. Disputes are allowed only when the seller fails to meet their obligations—such as non‑delivery, wrong delivery, or providing a product different from what was advertised. Technical issues should be reported through the Contact page.
- A minimum 2‑day guarantee period is provided for all buyers.
- Sellers may offer longer guarantee periods, but 2 days is the mandatory minimum.
- When a dispute is opened, the payment amount is held until a final decision is made.
- If the seller is dishonest (fake product, non‑delivery, or incorrect delivery), the buyer may receive the funds immediately.
- All transactions are decentralized, non‑custodial, and stablecoin‑based; MidgardPay does not take custody of user funds.
- Refunds are processed according to the invoice terms and the defined guarantee period.
